Pull Apart Cheesy Garlic Bread Christmas Tree

For the dough
For the dough:
750 g pizza dough store bought or homemade
Mozzarella cut into bite sized cubes
1 large egg lightly beaten for egg wash
1/4 cup butter melted
1/2 cup grated parmesan
3 cloves garlic grated
1 tablespoon fresh parsley finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary finely chopped
Pizza sauce for dipping

Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a large baking tray with baking paper.
Cut the pizza dough into approximately 30 even pieces. Cut the mozzarella into 30 small cubes.
Place one piece of mozzarella into each piece of dough, then roll into a smooth ball, pinching and sealing the edges.
Arrange the dough balls seam side down on the prepared tray in the shape of a Christmas tree, starting wider at the base and narrowing toward the top. Place the balls close together so they bake into a pull apart tree.
Lightly brush each dough ball with the egg wash.
Bake for 16 to 18 minutes or until golden brown.
While the bread is baking, combine the melted butter, parmesan, garlic, parsley and rosemary in a bowl.
Remove the bread from the oven, brush generously with the garlic butter mixture, then return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
Serve warm with pizza sauce for dipping.
